What is Half-Life?
Half-life is the time required for the concentration of a substance to reduce by half. After each half-life period, 50% of the remaining dose is eliminated.
The Decay Formula
Remaining dose = Initial ร (0.5)^(t / tยฝ). After 5 half-lives, less than 3.1% of the original dose remains โ considered clinically negligible in most contexts.
